Now is your time to flourish: Menopause
Welcoming the woman who knows herself, who loves herself, and is free
Did you know your rage, irritability, sleep loss, hair loss, isolation, exhaustion, forgetfulness is your body's way of telling you that it's time for attention?
Where we shall start:
Let us unravel your symptoms and find solutions. Through the use of yoga styles, talking, breathwork, pelvic health, mudra, along with wise-ancient activities, we can work together to ride through your menopause with more ease. Not only that, we will help you to feel empowered to use whatever 'negative' symptoms you have had and turn them into informed action.
What we may journey through:

What we may journey through:
- We will discuss what physical or emotional changes you feel, and connect them to a deeper understanding of self
- Cycle awareness - moon & hormones - is a helpful tool to carry you throughout menopause. It's an amazing resource to understand your energy and mood.
- Desires - Sensuality can be a huge part of our identity, we'll explore how to navigate these changes and explore your needs.
- Identity – who, what, & where are we now? Together we'll plan and take the first few steps together into your chosen path, the final sessions will identify a few gentle action plans (which we will test out together), to help you continue on your journey of self-discovering
- Ailments ~ Joints, muscles, fingers, shoulders, backs....anything can start to feel tender as we age. We'll design bespoke movement (strength & release) and self-massage to help you manage these conditions.

Yoga for menopause
For those who practice yoga, you already know how it helps us let go of what we no longer need, as well as calm our mindset and give us confidence in many ways. On a physical level yoga helps to mobilise the body, accessing the joints, the muscles and can even strengthen our bones, which can all be effected during menopause. The breathwork and meditation work on a more subtle energetic way - supporting us to shift negative emotions and behaviours. Compassion for ourselves, but also to those around us, can be vital during this grand transition of life so we can not only fulfil our life but continue to connect and support those we love.
Contemplation
Journaling and Art can be a powerful cleansing tool and has been around since ink and paint was first produced (think caves and ancient texts!).
While some may feel the 'loss' of their menstrual cycle , these tools facilitate you to explore your ability to 'create' in another way. It is not essential to journal or start drawing/painting for these session, but you may find exploring areas of your life in this way helpful and healing, in whatever expression you choose, I'm here to support you. Here are some questions to consider using for either journaling, art, or both:
I look forward to welcoming you to find your community, and explore a pathway of ease. Please reach out with any questions you may have

- Have you noticed any shifts to your mood recently - bold or soft?

- What loving words would the younger you say to the present you?

About me: I’m a Senior Yoga Teacher and have practiced yoga since 1994, and taught since 2014. I’ve trained with many wonderful teachers and learnt numerous styles over the years, accruing over 750hrs of training. I teach an amalgamation of yoga styles that enable me to support women’s health, enhance athletic performance, and manage injuries.
I have always loved alternative lifestyles and adventure, from exploring Tarot cards and spell books at 12, and then walking into my first yoga class at 14 which was weird and wonderful. I had no idea it would bring such richness to my life. Yoga has infinite lessons to teach us: it offers guides to healthy lifestyles choices, living in harmony with the seasons and nature, even equipping us with ethics to respect ourselves and others. It infuses ancient wisdom with modern science so we have the best of both worlds to make informed choices. When I explored the depth of these teachings I felt like I had found what I had been searching for - the Well Woman movement.
My three children are my inspiration to tune deep into the feminine sources. They guide me on boundaries, help me dismantle the patriarch, and have opened my eyes to further understand how much choice we have with identity. I have much to be grateful for in my life, including the cohort of people that strive to support those transitioning through life with more ease and self awareness. The Well Woman movement is gaining powerful momentum, something I hope to be able to continuously support. I'm currently creating courses for yoga teachers and practitioners who work with women's health, to support them with Well Woman courses.
