YOGA ESSENTIALS - DEMYSTIFYING BACKBENDS
This 4 part workshop is for everyone who needs a boost in their approach to backbends and feel more supple in their spine. If you want to make progress in these invigorating and empowering postures in a safe and structured way, please read on.
Backbends are known to counteract some of the damage from a bad posture like shallow breath, pain, week muscles, low mood. You’ll unwind tension in your back and neck, pelvis and hips, and increase shoulder mobility. You’ll explore the fundamentals in backbends to make the following progress:

- Find ease in extension (backbend) to feel strong
- Release tension while exploring your range of motion
- Improve postural alignment and correcting imbalances of the spine
