Whether your goal is to improve your yoga practice, or indeed feel better in the tasks you perform in everyday life, these workshops will help you find balance by using your breath, your body and your awareness to tap into a more powerful and mindful approach to movement.
Technique outcomes:
~ learn simple modifications to strengthen your core
~ develop muscular coordination and awareness to improve balance, power & performance
~ learn how to use core muscles for a variety of poses
~ adapt your practice to use your core efficiently whether you practice gentle or moderate classes

~ reduce back, knee & shoulder pain and other ailments caused by: driving, a desk job, sports, phone addiction, pushing pushchairs and so on!

SESSION 1: Hips and Pelvic Floors - We will focus on stabilising our hips, inner thighs & the root of our core. Especially good for those wishing to reduce knee and lower back symptoms.
SESSION 2: Abdominal Muscles - Learn simple anatomical adjustments to heighten your abdominal core strength (transverse & rectus abs), with the use of bandhas and diaphragm breathing. We will learn how to switch on the abdominals - the front of your core. Essential to reduce lower back ailments and feel powerful in our mobility.
SESSION 3: Obliques - strengthen, lengthen and learn about the body’s side muscles to help release tension in your back, hips and shoulders in order to find ease for your body and support your posture. All geared to helping you to move, breathe and sit with more comfort.
SESSION 4: Lower Back - strengthen & release the back of your core for better form and stability for everyday tasks. Perfect to improve posture and reduce lower back, shoulder, hip and neck ailments.
