  • Sound Healing
Sound therapy is used to improve health and wellbeing – recognised to affect the physiology, neurology and psychology of the self.
Treatments can be used to energise, balance & ground the individual by assisting you to enter deep relaxation, resulting in reducing stress levels, a huge contributor to illness, sleep disruption and low energy.

Tibetan culture have used singing bowls for rituals to travel to another consciousness, and according to mythology, as far back as when Buddha walked this earth. Nowadays, scientists have recorded the frequency gong waves reach in the human brain and has recorded individuals reaching Theta θ frequency (4–8 Hz), associated with creating a deeply relaxed, inward focused brain state. There is currently much research to identify the healing capacity of sound therapy including NASA and Medical Universities around the world - for a list, please check here.

What to expect during the session: You will spend the session seated for 5-10 minutes and then lying down on your front and back. A sound bowl will be played directly on your body at various points. The vibrations can be felt through your skin, flesh, muscles, joints, down to your bones.

Please email annahollandyoga@gmail.com, or call me on 07501468724 to book an appointment.

£60 for up to one hour, the session lasts 45-60 minutes.
Upon booking you will receive a protocol for treatment procedures to ensure your safety.

If the water inside this bowl does this, imagine what the water inside your body must do during a treatment...!
