Your Hosts
Anna has loved yoga since she first started practicing it in ‘94. She has taught yoga for 8 years, and attained the highest teaching qualification EYT-500hr in 2018. Since, she's attained Senior Yoga Teacher status, though I feel older, it is to signify I have taught over 4000 classes and/or 10 years.
She aims to empower her students to regain their balance, energy, focus and explore a lighter side to life. Anna infuses yoga philosophy with modern anatomy, to enable you to re-connect to all layers of self and guides practitioners to feel a sense of inner calm and a greater connection to their essence. Anna has tallied over 850hrs training including Yoga for Athletes with Sarah Ramsden (Ryan Giggs teacher), ‘Creating Space & Freedom - Hips & Legs’, ‘Building Integtrity & Stability - Spine & Core’, & ‘Cultivating Strength & Movement - Shoulders, Neck & Upper Back’ with Jason Crandell, described as taking yoga to its next level. She has also been fortunate to study with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (teacher, author and feminist) ‘Well Woman Yoga’ - a movement guiding us to use yoga to embrace women's health and vital energy throughout their lives. Anna teaches from Devon, having moved with the family in 2023, and offers online classes and hosts workshops & retreats in the UK, and beyond. She has just started to train to become an Ayurveda Consultant and will qualify in 2024 - it is a system of medicine which is based on the idea of balance in bodily systems by using nutrition, herbal treatments, and yoga, breathing practices & meditation. |
