THE WELL WOMAN

ONLINE MONTHLY MEET UPS FOR THE WELL WOMAN
Last Sunday of the month, starts September 20th
~~Pelvic Floor yoga & Menstrual cycle awareness~~

Pelvic floor yoga can improve our posture, incontinence, pelvic prolapse, sexual pleasure and overall confidence.

Menstrual Cycle Awareness helps us to understand and  fully appreciate each stage our cycle. Learn to maximise your energy and mood as we share the wisdom and practices passed down from the ancient matrilineal lines.

WHAT WILL SESSIONS INVOLVE?
Yoga focusing on pelvic floors awareness, exercises that will strengthen and soften, and knowledge to take this into regular yoga classes. We will then learn about menstrual cycle awareness learning to appreciate each stage of our cycle to maximise our creativity, serenity, energy and discover our best self.

PELVIC FLOOR YOGA
Pelvic floors make up the base of our core and hold the pelvic organs (bladder, intestines, uterus (females) in place. As we get older, and for those who’ve experience childbirth, this muscle can become weaker (too soft or too hard).
Yoga includes the engagement of pelvic floors and often refers to them as the mula bandha – considered an energetic lock associated to the mula dhara chakra (root chakra) at the base of the spine.

MENSTURAL CYCLE AWARENESS (MCA)
  • What do you feel about your menstrual cycle?
  • Are there stages of you you love or can't cope with?
  • Do you talk openly about your cycle with family, friends, colleagues?
  • Do you use an app to monitor your cycle? (If so, please start!)

Monthly meetings will encourage regular care and consideration through exercises, learning and sharing.

Movement suitable for all levels and abilities.
