RESTORATIVE YOGA Restorative yoga helps to deeply relax the mind and body: facilitating healing as well as balancing out your physical and emotional energies. A restorative yoga sequence incorporates only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held from 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. 3rd Friday of the month 8pm, 100mins
Suitable for all
YIN YOGA In Yin yoga, we target the deep connective tissues of the body - the ligaments, joints, bones, and deep fascia networks. A Yin class usually consists of a series of passive floor poses held for up to 5 minutes or more. On an energetic level, Yin yoga improves energy flow and enhances the flow of chi in the organs but the practice also offers huge mental and emotional benefits too. Craving energy? Over-stimulated mentally? Give it a go. Long held stretching poses, sitting or lying on the floor for 2-6 minutes 8pm Tuesdays
Suitable for all

Can I come to yoga?
Can I come to yoga even if I have an injury?
Yoga is accessible for everyone, but not all classes or poses suitable for all. Poses can be modified to individual needs, however some classes are more dynamic than others. Please contact me prior to booking or attending to ensure you get the support you need.
What you should bring
Please bring a mat, yoga strap, blocks and warm clothing, no equipment is provided. You may also like water after the class.
What level of yoga should you be practising
My classes are for beginners to the more confident yogi. Because the studio is so small, I am able to tailor the class for your individual needs, no matter what your fellow yogis are doing in the room. I would recommend a private one-to-one for complete beginners or anyone with injuries so that I can safely guide you through the basics which you will need for classes. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
Is yoga suitable for your health?
Everyone is different.
If you have had an injury, as long as your doctor has consented to you practising yoga, I am here to guide you through the class and be mindful of any ailments/concerns. All I ask of you is to listen to your body.
If you are in good health yoga is for you, the benefits are numerous - better health, better skin, more energy, better flexibility which improves your posture, stronger muscles, better bone density, stronger immune system, decrease blood pressure, increase serotonin, calm your mind, improve your balance, improve sleep, the list is endless!!
